Crash diets - in other words starving - to fight obesity may prove fatal. Doctors and nutritionists warn that middle-aged persons, working women and young adults should not resort to crash dieting without taking advice from experts as it could lead to serious health problems.

Crash diets are an easy way to lose weight as compared to sticking to an exercise regime. A strenuous exercise regime is healthier because it sheds your extra kilos apart from accelerating the blood circulation of the body. It opens all the body pores and in a way lets the body breathe. Dieting is good for health to burn the extra calories, but it should be observed as per the advice of experts in the field. The human body needs macro and micro nutrients regularly. Rigorous fasting without taking even liquids make the obese anaemic. Dehydration of skin and hair fall are other effects. They look weak and washed out. Those who observe fasts for a few days tend to overeat later, and as a result regain the lost calories. So, the problem of obesity remains unsolved.

Crash dieting is not at all advisable because it drops the glucose levels of your body. The deficit of glucose levels cause giddiness and at the same time the excess fat cannot be converted into energy instantaneously. IT professionals and others who are mostly involved in desk job should try to burn 1800-2000 calories per day. They have to adjust their food habits accordingly so that obesity will not be a problem. For a positive state of health , you need to look hard on your plate. Here are a few important points to keep in mind :

*Taking flax seed and its oil is helpful. Flax seeds contain the essential fatty acid omega-3 alphalinolenic acid, which the body converts into hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. These prostaglandins may help relieve the inflammation of fibromyalgia. The oils of fatty fish such as trout, cod, halibut, mackerel and salmon also contain omega 3 acids therefore work as anti-inflammatory agents.

*The presence of flavonoids and vitamins make Alalfa seeds, and ideal for pain control. These seeds can be also sprouted and added on your salads or soups.

*Eat a high fibre diet that includes plentiful servings of complex carbohydrates and green vegetables. Include ample servings of lean protein, such as that found in fish, poultry, and fresh raw nuts and seeds in your diet. Eat four to five small meals daily rather than three larger ones. This will ensure proper muscle function.

*Avoid processed foods and pre-processed and packaged snacks, red meat. Saturated and trans fats interfere with circulation, increasing inflammation and pain.

*Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and sugar as these substances contribute to fatigue, increased muscle pain, and can also interfere with normal sleep patterns.

*Antioxidants help reduce free radical damage and fight inflammation. Take a good antioxidant formula by taking 5-6 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables every day. Coenzyme Q10 helps deliver oxygen to cells. You may take 60 milligrams twice daily between meals.

*Evening oil is an excellent source of essential fatty acids, which act as natural anti-inflammatory agents in the body which in turn assist in pain relief.

*Drink eight glasses of pure water daily. Fresh juices and herbal teas are also good choices. A plentiful intake of liquids is important for flushing out toxins.

    hi,madam my age is 20 doing i want to know how to maintain fare soft skin.i have dry,oily&sometimes it becomes normal.i have blackspot near my eyes&some part of my body.even some pimples on face ,white pimples near eyes.i apply vaseline daily after bath on body but for face what shell i apply.i want my face to look always soft with normal pink colour.i used fair&lovely &after i apply vaseline to look shine but i not feeling that good.i used everyouth but not know.when i wash my face my hands is getting dry again i am applying vaseline for 3-4times even on face .i want good look with no dryness but always soft with fair.i do normal exercis morning for half an hour then after breakfast then lunch &finally dinner i do walkin for 30min but i dont know whenever i eat food,vegetable, drink water my stomach get full even i do exercise.normally i eat limit but my teeth becomes can u suggest any home made creamormoisturizer which i can do at home.

  4. For cholesterol, you must start walking and exercising. Avoid fried fatty foods completely.

    · Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water per day to flush toxins and waste products.

    ·You can eat out occasionally but take care not to consume rich food. You can order salads, tandoori roti, raitas, fresh fruits and fresh limejuice.

    Increase the physical activity by following aerobic exercise like jogging, brisk walking, cycling or swimming for at least 30min daily along with diet modification would help you lose weight.

  8. You need to do aerobics for shedding your weight fast. Are you using slimcal oil also on your thighs and hips, massage with the oil every day. Eat the capsule twice after meals with water. Take oil free diet. The result will be shown after 7-8 weeks time.

  10. You are too young for any of the treatment. Use the paste of besan (grain-flour) and curd on your neck and rub it. As it dries, wash it. Repeat it weekly and use sunscreen 20 SPF all over your face and neck before 20 minutes you go out.
